1. What Restore My Water Damage Is

Restore My Water Damage is a free referral and connection service for property owners and managers who need water damage restoration. We answer calls 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, gather details about your situation and share them with one or more independent third-party restoration providers who serve your area. We may receive compensation from providers for referrals.

We are not a restoration contractor. We do not inspect, extract, dry, clean, remediate or repair property, and we do not employ or supervise the providers' staff.

2. Independent Restoration Providers

  • Providers are independent businesses, not our employees, agents or partners.
  • Each provider is responsible for its own licenses, registrations, permits, insurance, certifications, pricing, estimates, contracts, warranties, workmanship, scheduling and compliance with law.
  • Any agreement for services is solely between you and the provider. Read the work authorization, payment terms and any assignment of benefits carefully before you sign.
  • We do not guarantee that a provider will be available, respond within a certain time, accept your job, or that its work or pricing will meet your expectations.
  • You are responsible for checking a provider's license, insurance and references before hiring. Our guide to choosing a restoration company lists what to ask.

By calling us or submitting a request with the consent box checked, you confirm that you are the subscriber or authorized user of the phone number you provide, and you agree that Restore My Water Damage and the providers matched to your request may contact you at that number and email address by phone call, text message and email, including with automated technology or prerecorded messages, about your request. Consent is not a condition of any purchase. Message and data rates may apply, and message frequency varies. Reply STOP to opt out of texts or HELP for help, or email [email protected]. Calls may be recorded or monitored for quality and training.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is Restore My Water Damage the company that repairs my property?

No. Restore My Water Damage is a referral and connection service. We pass your request to independent third-party restoration providers in your area. The provider you hire performs the work, holds the licenses and insurance, sets the price and gives any warranty, under its own contract with you.

Does it cost anything to call Restore My Water Damage?

There is no charge to call (833) 435-4276 or submit a request. Any inspection, extraction, drying or repair costs are quoted and billed by the restoration provider you choose to hire, so ask for pricing, insurance billing options and a written estimate before authorizing work.

Do you guarantee someone will come out right away?

No. We answer calls 24/7 and try to connect you with help quickly, but provider availability and arrival times depend on location, weather, demand and the provider's schedule. During major storms, wait times can be longer, so call as early as possible.

How do I check a restoration provider's license and insurance?

Ask the provider for its contractor license or registration number, proof of general liability and workers' compensation insurance, and any IICRC certifications for the technicians. Then verify the license with your state contractor licensing board before signing a work authorization.

Can I cancel the calls or texts after I submit a request?

Yes. Reply STOP to any text message, tell the caller you no longer want to be contacted, or email [email protected]. Consent to be contacted is never a condition of buying anything, and you can withdraw it at any time.

What if I have a problem with the provider's work?

Raise it first with the provider, since the contract, warranty and billing are between you and them. Keep your estimate, work authorization, photos and moisture logs. You can also email [email protected] so we can review the complaint and our future referrals to that provider.

Is the information on this site professional advice?

No. Our guides are general information about water damage, restoration and insurance. They are not legal, insurance, engineering, electrical or medical advice. Your policy, local codes and the conditions in your building control the right answer, so confirm with qualified professionals.

What should I do in a dangerous emergency?

If there is fire, a gas smell, electrical sparking, a collapsing ceiling or anyone is hurt, leave the area and call 911 or your utility company first. Once everyone is safe, call (833) 435-4276 for water damage restoration help.

Where do I send questions about these terms?

Email [email protected] with your question about these Terms of Use. If you need water damage help now rather than an answer about terms, call (833) 435-4276 24/7 and we will connect you with a local restoration provider.

Need water damage restoration help?
